Expert forensic reports
When is an automatic analysis not enough?
ORTSLAB provides an immediate forensic verdict in seconds. But some situations require something more: a signed report by a certified judicial IT expert, with probative validity before courts, data protection authorities or law enforcement.
Three levels of analysis
FREE
Basic report
Verdict, main signals detected and basic recommendations. Instant, no registration.
To know if a message is a threat before acting.
PRO
Advanced technical report
Forensic DNA, full evidence with scores, attack profile and specific recommendations.
For IT professionals, security teams or internal documentation.
FORENSIC
Official expert report
Signed document issued by a certified judicial IT expert. Legally valid before courts, AEPD and law enforcement.
For formal complaints, legal proceedings or banking claims.
When does a case require expert intervention?
An automatic tool analyzes technical signals. A forensic expert documents, preserves and certifies evidence with legal validity. These are the situations where the difference matters:
⚖️Judicial complaint or criminal proceedingA screenshot or automatic report is not enough. The court requires a signed expert document.
🏦Banking fraud claimTo prove you were the victim of phishing or smishing and demand the bank to reverse the charge.
🏢Corporate incident with legal exposureBEC fraud, CEO impersonation or ransomware attack affecting client data under GDPR.
🛡️Identity theft or impersonationSomeone is posing as you or your company online. Documenting it with legal validity requires an expert.
📋Labour dispute involving digital evidenceEmails, messages or documents that need to be authenticated as evidence in an employment proceeding.
🔍Verification of digital evidence authenticityDetermining whether an email, document or message has been altered or manipulated.
💡 If you have already analyzed a message with ORTSLAB and the result confirms fraud, the PRO report serves as a technical starting point. The forensic expert report is the document that certifies that analysis for legal use.
How the expert process works
1
Initial consultation
You explain the case and send the available material (emails, screenshots, messages). Preliminary assessment of viability and scope.
2
Forensic analysis
Technical examination of the evidence, preservation of metadata and chain of custody documentation.
3
Expert report
Signed document with conclusions, technical evidence and expert opinion, structured for judicial use.
4
Judicial ratification if required
The expert can appear before the court to ratify and defend the report in oral proceedings.
